Nickel Plate News is a student run newscast that covers stories and events happening around Hamilton County Our goal is to keep the community informed by filming and reporting on local news, school events, sports, and other important happenings in the area. Through interviews, on-site reporting, and video coverage, we highlight what’s going on in our schools and neighborhoods. Nickel Plate News gives students the opportunity to develop journalism, filming, and storytelling skills while sharing real stories from our community. We aim to keep viewers updated, connected, and informed about life in Hamilton County.
